How do you match me with a sitter?Each reservation is hand-tailored pairing you with a sitter that meets your request and requirements.

Can I meet my sitter prior?Yes, families have the option of scheduling a 30-minute in-person consultation before the scheduled reservation. Families will be subject to a consultation fee of 50.00 dollars. Consultations that occur via phone or zoom are free.

Is there an hourly minimum for sitter reservations?Yes, a four-hour minimum for all services except virtual sitting.

Can I request a sitter on a holiday?Yes, sitters are available on holidays. Due to demand rate will be subject to increase for all holidays.

Can I request a sitter with less than 24-hour notice?Sitter reservations can be made the day of. Although it is customary to request a week in advance.

Is tipping allowed or expected?While you are given the option of tipping at the end of a job, it is not necessary.

Can I request the same sitter?Families can request a specific sitter. We will try to accommodate your request depending upon the availability of the sitter.

Can I book a sitter outside of Babysitting Logistics?Reservations must be booked exclusively through Babysitting Logistics. Communication outside of a scheduled reservation is strictly prohibited. Sitters are under contract they are not permitted to work for any clients or third parties.

What are Babysitting Logistics hours of operation?Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. For emergency care please email info@babysittinglogistics.com or contact via phone at 412-413-0007. You will receive a quick response.

Can I make a one-time reservation?Yes, complete the family registration form and pay the non-member reservation fee.

Do I have to pay a fee each time I reserve a sitter?Yes, A non-refundable scheduling fee is paid. These fees are in place to compensate our staff for arranging your coverage. If we are not able to provide a confirmation, our team will refund the reservation fee.

I arrived home early/late what happens then?If you arrive home early you are charged the full duration of your reservation. If arriving late you are charged the hourly rate previously agreed upon however will incur a late fee. If you want to extend your reservation, please let our office staff know so that we can confirm sitter availability.

How does the service work?A family completes and submits the registration form. A phone interview is then scheduled with the family to discuss any questions providing a seamless experience. Our team then tailor matches the sitter upon your expectation and request. You will be provided with a sitter profile before your scheduled reservation.

Can I cancel my reservation through my sitter?Cancellations or modifications must be made directly through our corporate team, never your sitter. Cancellation must be made during normal business hours Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

How will I know who my sitter is?You will be provided with your sitter profile. Upon arrival, your sitter is to show their ID. Sitters are to wear their babysitting logistic tee-shirts to make them easy to recognize.

Is Babysitting Logistics insured?Yes, Babysitting Logistics is fully insured

Can I request a sitter who is vaccinated for Covid-19?Yes, if a sitter is vaccinated, they must provide our corporate team with supporting documents. Sitters are not mandated to share their vaccination cards with families we already have them on file.

Do you issue tax receipts for your services?No, we issue invoice statements including paid reservations and associated fees. Please save your invoice statements for tax filing.

What are your sitters working hours?Babysitting Logistics sitters are available to provide care around the clock 24 hours 7 days a week.

Can my sitter clean my home or do my laundry?Sitters are expected to clean up all childcare-related messes made during the reservation but are not able to accommodate any additional cleaning, vacuuming, laundry unless requested at booking and service rendered.

What are the qualifications of your sitters?Babysitting Logistics sitters are thoroughly vetted and must be at least 18 years old. Each sitter is personally interviewed one on one. Then pre-screened through a vigorous process including criminal background check, child clearances, drug test, motor vehicle check, verifying references, and social media check. Our sitters are required to have 2-3 years of experience with children, CPR/first aid certification, completing of Act 33/34 and or Act 114, and non-smoker. Our industry-leading sitters are well-groomed and maintain a high level of professionalism. We strive to provide stellar care to your most prized and beloved possession.

Should I reserve my sitter 10-15 minutes before my departure?Yes, we recommend reserving 10-15 minutes before departure to review any specific task and to complete the sitter instruction form.

What are the contingent service fees?Babysitting Logistics does not offer a refund under any circumstance unless a sitter is unavailable The first hour of service is charged at the time of reservation. Service is charged to the account 24 hours in advance of service If a service is canceled a cancellation fee will be issued at 50 percent of the scheduled reservation. Service can be extended beyond the hours requested with a minimal extension fee Family reserving less than 24 hours in advance incurs a late reservation fee Sitters are owed for the full amount of time scheduled. Even if the member/non-member chooses to end the reservation before the scheduled and confirmed end time. Mileage fees are to be calculated by your sitter at the time of departure if using their vehicle; and are only applicable if the sitter is driving kiddos in their vehicle, during reservation.

I’m requesting FT/PT care when should I pay?Full-time or part-time care service must be paid for in full on the first day of the week for recurring service.
