About the Role

Full-Time Nanny Position – Blended Family of Six
Upper St. Clair, PA

A professional blended family of seven is seeking an experienced, reliable, and nurturing full-time nanny to join their household. This is a long-term position offering guaranteed hours, competitive compensation, and a respectful, well-organized work environment. A newborn is expected in October 2026.
Position Overview
Primary care will be provided for:
A 9-month-old
A newborn expected October 2026
A 2-year-old when present 50% shared custody

The family shares 50% custody of the following children:
A 2-year-old
An 8-year-old
A 10-year-old
The shared-custody children are typically present in the home:
Wednesday and Thursday afternoons
Every other weekend, from Friday through Monday morning
The school-aged children are largely self-sufficient and require only light supervision, homework reminders, and assistance with snacks as needed.

Schedule & Hours
Guaranteed 40 hours per week
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime: Opportunity for overtime 4 hour per week, occurring two (2) to three (3) weeks per month
All overtime hours are compensated at 1.5x the regular hourly rate

Compensation & Benefits
Hourly wage: $29.00–$31.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
Overtime paid at time-and-a-half
Two (2) weeks of paid vacation
Five (5) paid sick days
Paid federal holidays, including:
New Year’s Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day (July 4th)
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
Mileage reimbursement for use of the nanny’s personal vehicle for work-related duties

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will evolve as the children grow and may include, but are not limited to:
Full infant and toddler care, including diapering, feeding, and nap routines
Preparing age-appropriate meals and snacks for the children
Supporting potty training when developmentally appropriate
Planning and supervising age-appropriate outings and enrichment activities
Encouraging structured play, independent play, and exploration
Light tidying related to childcare activities and maintaining children’s areas
General supervision and safety oversight at all times
Supervision of school-aged children during custody periods, as needed

The ideal nanny will demonstrate:
A kind, patient, nurturing, and organized demeanor
Strong reliability, punctuality, and professionalism
Proven experience caring for multiple children, particularly infants and toddlers
A warm, engaging, and energetic approach to caregiving
Emotional intelligence and the ability to provide consistent, gentle guidance
Confidence in maintaining daily routines and household structure

Additional Details
The family reserves the right to request a trial period prior to finalizing employment
This position is intended to be long-term, with a family seeking stability, trust, and consistency
All candidates will be thoroughly screened and vetted prior to presentation to the family

Requirements

Prior nanny experience with multiples Comfortable going on playdates, library, age appropriate activities etc.

Attention to detail and a kind, understanding demeanor

Can work with others in a collaborative environment

Self starter with the ability to make decisions

Reliable

Pennsylvania clearances, or willing to obtain them

Three verifiable professional childcare references

Non-Smoker

Eligible to legally work in the US

CPR and First Aid certification 

Drivers License

At Least 21 years old Willing to commit long term
